Patrick Berhalter, CEO, recalls:
In 1998, after years in which I learned a great deal in the technical and commercial departments, I was able to assume responsibility for the future of BERHALTER AG as CEO at the age of 30.
With the confidence of the management team and my father, we have been able to grow and develop into an internationally active family company.
Our modern organizational structure emphasizes cooperation in customer and supplier relations as partners, with all strategic business fields today being supervised with a charming Swiss touch. Our Swissness offers tradition and innovation, something our partners greatly appreciate.
BERHALTER AG traditionally sets great pride in apprentice training. With a high percentage of trainees, amounting to 20-25% of the workforce, which exceeded 100 individuals in 2008, we promote young professional people as entrepreneurs and endow them with the confidence for future innovation.
BERHALTER AG is broadly based. Practically since our foundation we have operated in three business fields: “Subcontracting”, “Mold-Making” and “Die Cutting”.
In 2009, we were able to add the fourth division “Screen Changers”
which are now also marketed worldwide.
In 2009, we were able to reach another milestone by taking over two neighboring properties, which provide additional options for any future expansion plans.
With a clear strategy, short communication channels, a flat, flexible hierarchy and qualified employees, we can look forward to a successful future. We have been and continue to be a reliable partner – and with our inventiveness will remain to be in the future.
We have been able to demonstrate our efficiency and motivation to our customers at many entrepreneurial levels and successfully implement projects together with our partners. We are pleased to be able to invite you to master the challenges of the future with us under the motto “be Swiss”.
